Sd.Kfz 11 after oils - stage 1....

Ok, so first level of oils added, satin varnish putted on, now colors are prepared for AK-Interactive fluids. As you can see wheels with snow shoes are drying after added Mig prod. pigments.

Rest of winter camo... + some scratches...

Now kit is prepared for all weathering techniques... scratches are on, rest of white paint looks ok. So time for "oils job"..

Winter Sd.Kfz 11 painting..........

I sprayed Sd. Kfz 11 using white matt, before that I've done same thing using hair spray. Also big sledges are completed, ready for putting accessories, and Flak 38 cannon.

Building with Dremel - Sd.Kfz 11 late... winter time...

This time Dremel tools helped me with late version of Sd.Kfz 11. Base kit was from AFV Club. I will put that half-track in winter base scenery with sledges. As always I've used Dremel 8200 w/accumulators. Sanding and cutting some resin elements was needed. Now waiting a lot of work with finishing kit and much more work with creating base...

And soon I will present new site... of course coexisting with that blog :)

Weekend... Modelling Contest in Cracow...

I've returned from Modelling Contest Cracow 2012. Place for contest was perfect - "Museum of Home Army"/ "Muzeum Armii Krajowej" in Cracow. More informations and photos of that great place you can fine here :

There was 560 kits built by 120 modellers. So that was very nice competition with family atmosphere.

My four kits was awarded, so I'm very happy, because Cracow is my family homeland, so I'm glad about that too :)

Renault R-35 was French light tank, after capturing France, Wehrmacht captured a lot of different tanks and trucks there. Also a lot of vehicles was rebuilt or modify and repaint to use by Wehrmacht. One of that creations was : Bergeschlepper 731(f) used as artillery tractor.
