Figures idea...

Because I don't have any experience with figure painting... I've decided to order that sets of Master Box plastic figures. It will be great subject for my first diorama...

Well... I think - nearly done... I've made roof frames with old photo-etched spare parts and lead wire + some bolts made with RP Tools "Punch & Die" set - diameter 0,7mm

Today's evening results of weathering Kubelwagen IR ... well I'm really satisfied with this one... however it is not done yet... I want to create roof's frames as a nice add-on... also some details inside...

I've started with black & white base... after that few shades of sand colors make nice contrast with base...

I've made 3 different tones of bricks... hope they looks natural laying on road...

 How to create nice color of plaster bricks.

- Hataka AS45 set

- 2 bright pigments

- metal cup

- thinner

add some colors from set to create red brown tones...

add some thinner...

mix it !...

add some plaster bricks...

mix it again...

add some pigments and mix them again...

it is done, need few minutes for drying process...

Final view - note - you can mix different colors to get different tones of bricks...
